Some history and descriptions
Ryan found himself surrounded by this supernatural bunch of musicians, after waking up from his nightmare of divorces, drinking, getting ass kicked by cops and living other ‘different lifestyles..’ He does not only sing about girls, beautiful girls, sexy girls, hot girls, working girls, sweet girls, lovely girls, ugly girls, nagging girls, angry girls, frustrated girls, hysterical girls, stupid girls, or mothers in law.. No! …if you take a closer look at the upcoming album, you will discover even some ‘deeper’ shit..
Richie got lost somewhere along the line, picked himself up and survived by kicking and hitting his ass off! His playing is something, just to witness and salute to; lonesome heights …even in this band!
He and Miko met and played together in several bands in the ninetees, Miko said about him; ‘When I am on stage, I hear him play stuff that is physical impossible and then, as I turn around; I see him doing it!!’
Miko played with some guys and girls… He toured the world for years and years with Sheila E., Prince, Eddy Murphy, Larry Graham (Sly and the family Stone) and some other dudes. He is easy going, unbelievable groovy, always funny, beloved and always surrounded by the ladies…
Martijn van Agt is one of Hollands most talented guitarists without any doubt! He did his things in the bands of Ricky Koole, Sarah Bettens, Ilse DeLange… and he joined for years the band of Anouk. Like he said; “If she’s blond and needs a guitarist; I play with them, ha ha!!’
So, Ryan (who is a blondie too in fact) welcomed him with open arms in ASLTW and immediately gave him the nickname ‘The Rock!’
Whát a musician; whát a blessing!
Han Dasselaar best known as the bassplayer of City City, that made it to the number 1 position in the Dutch Charts with their monsterhit ‘The Road Ahead Is Empty’and stayed there for a long time.. ‘The Spunk’ is as rock steady and groovy in his playing, as he is in person!
Francis, the ‘fonkey professor’ did his things with people like Jessy Dixon, who toured the world for 9 years as the backing band of Paul Simon and many, many other names and projects!
His timing is something from the supernatural!
His chords are something else too..
Karin and Debby had their share of fame in the charts..; these voices need no stories to tell about and that’s somethin’ you’ll realise when you hear them sing baby!
Together, they blend so well and create the colourful sound that just gets to you..
